Abstract

Using of high education students of electronic and traditional information sources in Elneelain University.

This study aimes to recognize how to extend electronic and traditional sources used by researchers in their researchers, recognize the problems and difficulties facing researchers in using electronic sources.

Descriptive and case study methods were used. Using a questionnaire data was collected from a sample consist of (100) high education students in Elneelnain university.

The study showed that most high researchers students still use traditional information sources. Those who use electronic information sources depend only on Internet rather than on other sources and they experienced some difficulties such as lack of knowledge in using electronic sources, foreign languages barriers particularly English language.

The study recommends that the necessity of using electronic sources in libraries, libraries should have subscription in the national and international data bases, training courses in using electronic sources should be held for researchers
