Item الأثار الاجتماعية والاقتصادية لاعادة توطين المتاثرين من قيام سد مروي (دراسة حالة لقرى أمري الجديدة)(2013) مي بشارة سليمان محمد احمدAbstract This study; focused to know the socioeconomic impacts ofthe process of displacement and resettlement on the study community of new Arnri; the study seeks to determine the changes that have occurred to this community after six years on this experience, by standing on the positive and negative impacts that resulted for. I The study aimed to review the heritage on the area and socioeconomic variables that have occurred, with giving a description of analytical aspects of various life for the Amri people, also to identify the impact of changes on the systems of social relations in new Arnri; And to find out to what extent could the people of the area adaptability and stability in their new community after displacement and resettlement. The study discusses a number of questions concentrated on the study of the impacts resulting from the process of displacement and resettlement which hit the social structure of the villages new Amri. The study followed several approaches and the most important are historical approach, the descriptive and analytical approach. Also the study used a number of theories such as structural functional theory, interactive theory, and social exchange theory. the most important results that emerged from the study that the process of displacement and resettlement have contributed to the emergence of certain professions character of civilization in the study population, with the provision ofjob opportunities and new jobs for the people of the region, which contributed to the low percentage of the unemployed, as well as the findings of the study that the resettlement process contributed significantly to the provision of societal services, which have had a clear role in bringing about family stabilization in the region, as well as ofthe important results fi‘om the study revealed a decline in the proportion of women working in the new Arnri society especially with regard to the agricultural field. As the researcher has conducted several recommendations the most important to promote the health aspect by providing medical specialists at all levels and especially in the field of pediatrics, and also intensify literacy programs especially among the farmers to consisted with the nature of economic activity in the region so that farmers shall be familiarity with programs related to agricultural aspects.Item التكلفة المادية للجريمة في السودان(alneelain, 2001) مي بشارة سليمان محمد احمدJ j . Abstract This study is concerning cost discovering of crime in relation to the governmental attempts to eliminate and implement laws on those who commit criminal deals. The study aims to figure at the real cost of crime in the Sudan penal institutions, in addition to this, the study aims to contribute with proposals that can eradicate the high cost of anti criminal methods. The ancillary aim of the study is to review the theoretical aspects and data concerning the study. To realize the stated objectives, the study hypothized. the . ~.,. following(t:'?'~~.· .; .": '. -. / e The government expenditure to eliminate crime, and' implement laws does not match with output of the results. eImprisonment as a punishment does not reform criminals,\.. hence it raises the cost of the crime . ( ~ Most of the prisoners do not perform any tasks inside prison to lessen the 'cost eThe available activity within the institutions of pUnishment I described as, nonproductive, expensive, insignificant and \ do.e s not suite with the capabilities and experience of the pnsoners. The study contains of an introduction and six chapters. Chapter one deals with the theoretical framework. Punishment and cost of crime are presented in the second chapter. Chapter three gives a historical background about Ithe initiation and development of prison in Sudan. Chapter four is devoted to labour and crime cost.
