    Abstract The aim of this research is to study parental attitudes and their relation with dealing in some drugs among youth in Khartoum State . The researcher uses the descriptive method .The research community consists of drugs addicted youth in Khartoum State ,with a sample of 120 individuals ,0fwhom 60 persons are drug addicts and 60 non —addicts. They are all chosen according to the intentional sample method. The tools of the study are presented in parents attitudes standard , designed by Anwar Riyadh and Abedul Aziz Almeghisib . The researcher uses various methods of statistical treatments , these are the ( T — Test) of average of one community, the ( T — Test ) of the difference between averages , Person s Correlation Coefficient and Sperman Brown s Equation . The research comes to the following results :- - l. There are statistical differences in marks average between addict and non addict sons according to the measurement of parents attitude as perceived by sons , in favour of non addicts . 2. There are statistical differences between the degrees of addict and non addict sons, according to the measurement of parents attitude in how the father deal with some as perceived. by sons. These differences are to the advantage of non addict sons. 3. There are statistical differences between the degrees of both mothers and fathers in dealing with their addict and non addict sons, according to the measurement of parent attitudes as perceived by sons , these differences are to the advantage of non addict sons . 4. There are no statistical differences between the degrees of both mothers and fathers in dealing with their non addict sons , according to measurement of parents attitudes as perceived by sons . 5. There are no statistical differences between the degrees of both mothers and fathers in dealing with their addict sons, according to the mea_surement of parents attitudes as perceived by sons. 6. There are statistical differences between addict and non addict sons marks in the way of how their 'mothers and fathers deal with them , according to.the measurement parents attitudes as perceived by sons, these differences are to the advantage of the mothers. _ 7. There are statistical differences between addicts and non addicts makes as measured by the measurement of parents of how mothers deal with their sons ,as perceived by sons these differences are to the advantage of non addict sons . ~
