Item Usage qffducationaffecflnofogy in Improving Leaming ‘ Qrocess: from tfie viewpoint qft/ie flcacfemic stqfi‘ in Coflkges of Education in Sout/iern Universities.(Neelain University, 2012) Kuol Pal Deng GuilThe aim of this study is to look at the usage of educational technology in improving the learning process; fiom the view points of the academic staff in colleges of education in southern universities. The study is to look at the following: l. An attempt to know on how the learning process can be improved by using educational technology. 2. Relationship between the use of educational technologies and achievement of educational objectives. 3. To know students learning and performance when using educational technology. 4. An attempt to know the staffs’ views towards using educational technology in improving the learning process. 5. An attempt to know the problems facing staffs in using educational technology. 6. An attempt to know whether the three colleges of education in southem universities do allotted budget for provision of educational media. The field work study has been conducted in three colleges of education in southern universities according to the samples size of (90) members selected on stratify random selection at Bahr el Ghazal, Juba, and Upper Nile Universities. The researcher has used analytical descriptive approach. He prepared the questionnaires; in order to investigate the five hypothesizes, Chi square tests and P values were used. Different results were obtained. The most significance results:- 1. There is statistically significance on how the learning process can be improved by using educational technology. 2. There is statistically different between the use of educational technology and achievement of educational objectives. . 3. There is statistically different positive attitudes on the staffs’ views towards using educational technology in improving the learning process 4. There is statistically different on the obstacles facing teaching staffs in using educational technology in improving the learning process. 5. All the samples agreed through their different specializations; that there is no budget allotted for educational technology provision in colleges of education in southern universitie
