Item Synthesis and characterization of cadmium sulfide doped with strontium thin film by spin coating method(AL-Neelain University, 2015-10) Aisha salih Ahmed ezzalldeenAbstract Cadmium sulfide doped with Strontium thin film were successfully prepared using co-perception technique and deposited on glass substrate using spin coating method. XRD studies reveal that the CdS/Sr thin films have orthorhombic structure and the crystalline size calculated by Scherer's formula found to be equals 5.78nm. The FTIR spectra for the samples measured in the range of 400-4000𝑐𝑚−1exhibit showing the absorption band around 616cm-1,1413cm-1,1663cm-1,2337cm-1. The Band gaps energy of the materials were calculated from the UV -V is absorptionfor the sample Cd1-xSrxS (x=0.00, 0.1, 0.15, 0.30, 0.35), and they were found to be1.67eV, 1.79eV, 1.87eV, 2eV, 2.09eV which are semiconductor.Item Synthesis and characterization of cadmium sulfide doped with strontium thin film by spin coating method(alneelain, 2015) Aisha salih Ahmed ezzalldeen4 ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS First, I thank the God for giving me power to complete this research. The Band gaps energy of the materials were calculated from the UV -V is absorption for the sample Cd1-xSrxS (x=0.00, 0.1, 0.15, 0.30, 0.35), and they were found to be 1.67eV, 1.79eV, 1.87eV, 2eV, 2.09eV which are semiconductor. المستخلص تم تحضير شرائح كبريتيد الكادميوم المشوب بعنصر السترانشيوم باستخدام تقنيه الترسيب المشترك بنجاح وقد رسب علي شرائح زجاجيه باستخدام طريقه الطلء المغزلي . لقد تمت دراسة الخواص التركيبيه بواسطه مطياف حيود الشعه السينيه ودلت البنيه التركيبه علي انه مستطيلي متعامد . استخدمت معادله شيرر لحساب حجم البلوره ووجد انه يساوي 5.78 نانومتر . كما تمت دراسه الروابط 4 الكيميائيه بين ذرات المركبات بواسطه مطياف الشعه تحت الحمراء في المدي من 400 – 4000 سم - 1 ووجد انهه تتمركز حول . 616cm-1,1413cm-1,1663cm-1,2337cm ّكذللك تمت دراسه الخواص الضوئيه بواسطه المطياف الضوئي للشعه فوق البنفسجيه وتم حساب فجوات الطاقه للعينات Cd 1-x Sr x S ذات التركيز ) 0.00,0.1,0.15,0.30,0.35x (= ووجد ت انها تساوي علي التوالي . 2.09eV ,2eV ,1.87eV ,1.79eV ,1.67eV مما يعني انها تنتمي الي ااشباه الموصلت
