Item Secured Voice Communication via GSM Network(2014-08) Abdelwahab Faroug Eltirifi HassanItem Assessment of Spectrum Utilization in Dynamic Spectrum Access systems(AL-Neelain University, 2007) Hala Eldaw IdrissABSTRACTABSTRACTABSTRACTABSTRACT ABSTRACTABSTRACTABSTRACT The limited available spectrum and the inefficiency in the spectrum usage necessitate a new communication paradigm to exploit the existing wireless spectrum opportunistically. This new networking paradigm is referred to as Dynamic Spectrum Access (DSA). The current thesis concerned with the dynamic spectrum access, where useful multiple access techniques (CDMA) with spreading spectrum technologies to achieve high efficiency with large capacity is explained in detail. More specifically, a brief overview of the software defined radio technology is provided and parameter of different systems that use DSA techniques is introduced. Moreover, DSA functions such as spectrum management and spectrum sharing are explained in detail. Finally, the performance and efficiencies of these systems that uses for comparison were discussed and compared by a MATLAB program.Item Textile Waste Treatment [Case Study: ALOMERTEX Factory for Textile and Ready Clothes](AL-Neelain University, 2016-05) Mohamed Kamaleldin Idris BashierAbstract Textile industry is one of the most important and rapidly developing industrial sectors in Sudan. It has a high importance in terms of its environmental impact, since it consumes considerably amount of process water and produces highly polluted discharge water in large amounts. Textile mills in Sudan are required to control their discharge and therefore have started installing treatment plants. Performances of the treatment plants were evaluated by in situ inspections and analyses of influent and effluent. The objective of this study was investigation of the waste water produced in Al-OMERTEX factory, Analysis was done for samples of waste water to determine pH, COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), BOD5 (Biological Oxygen Demand), (Total dissolved solids) and TSS (Total suspended solids), results were presented in tables in the body of the research, It is found that the waste water parameters in the effluent are off range of the standards, and the methods used for treatment were investigated, also some suggestions and recommendations were put in order to improve the situation.Item Design and Simulation of Two Dimensional (2D) Tracking System Using PID control تصميم ومحاكاة نظام تتبع ذي محورين باستخدام المتحكم المتناسبي التكاملي التفاضلي(AL-Neelain University, 2014-06) Mohamed Osman MohamedAbstract In this thesis two dimentional tracking system (Elevation over Azimuth) has been proposed, and the design considered the wind force and the compensation of the mechanical backlash by connecting the feedback position sensor (encoder) to final moving part (Elevation or Azimuth) through gear box. The design criteria are met after PID controller has been implemented and tuned using Ziegler-Nichols second method. The results obtained are acceptable.
