Casestudy staudy is "'a' research title contesting for PH.D. Degree, in 'AlNeelain University, Graduate College Political Science department. The above mentioned research divided for three chapters, chapter one addresses the term hegemony from a theoretical point of view, defining the term hegemony ,to Construct the research on a unified platform, this chapter furthermore studied in details some cases of a historical international hegemony, to identify the symmetrical of the rises and the fall of the world super powers, assuming that it may give a sense weather the new intemational order is an American hegemony or other wise, bear in mind that the proposal plan of this research already assumed that the intemational new orders in context is nothing rather than American total hegemony, specifically since the claps of the USSR. In l ‘ll ~ ,also to explore the vanish common factors of the great empires across the hegemony history, believing that an outcome results will make an enlightenments to predict possibly the future of the outstanding American hegemony, in accordance with what has been suggested in the research methodology ,with reference to the proposal plan. The second chapter adopted the historical methodology as suggested in the proposal plan ,so this chapter observed closely the great process and developments that had qualified the USA to appear in the twenty first country as a uni-polar and the only world super-power. This chapter also numerated and explained the American hegemony elements to prove the American hegemony as one of the research major assumption ,it also closing with a comparative tendency between chapter one results abstracted from the fall causes of the great empires against the American hegemony threatens, trying to assess how much the threatening elements will affect the American hegemony comparing with ancient empires collapse reasons already mentioned in the first chapter, applying the historical methodology as proposed in the research proposal plan. The last chapter allotted to study the American hegemony on the horn of Africa, this chapter mainly to clarify American hegemony tools, and how it conduct its policy and influence across different world region’s to maintain “the so-called” American vital interest, with total consideration to research methodology application as has been numerated in the proposal plan. The study is dealing with the strategic significance and the African Horn and the strategies in that sphere and the nature and dimensions ofsuch struggle and its basic motives as exemplified in the resources ahead and the strategic location to the Horn in question . The study introduces the very visibility of Israel , its tendancies and strtegies in the African Horn euenthough a lot of its various tools and means , out of which the political , economical, social and so as to master the states of the African Horn and combatting all what is of Arabs and Islamic nature , and particularly in Somalia and Sudan , both are deemed a strategic depth to the Arab and Islamic Nation . the study has concluded by discussing the objects and what is behind the Israeli activity in the Sudan and the other states of the African Horn and what tends to . This research has introduced a future strategic vision to confront the role of Israel at the region of African I-Iorn . so the study unveiled the objects of the research and its very nature and agreement with the conclusions reached , and it also unveiled the objects and came to the very conclusion that nature and dimensions of stunggle in the African Horn is rnothing but an outcome of the very strategies of Israel and other major powers at the region just for the sake of mastering the resources , the Red Sea , the Nile Waters , petrol and the like . The study also touches the strategy and expansionist objects of Israel at the African Horn through a lot of tools and means , mainly of patitical , economic and sociel nature with the object of mastering the African Horn and fighting whatever it is of Islamic mature . The United States in Sudanese crisis that came to light as a result of the Israeli and major powers agression 011 Somalia with its Islamic backgroumd as well as the Sudan with its Arab on extension to the Arab nation and Islamic faith . the study puts forward a future vision so as to face the Israeli strategies and major powers in the African Hom because such states have come to this pact so as to master having adopted the same aggresive policy the most important recommendations this research has taken into account is I 1- The necersity of making the present regimes at the region , altogether , regardles of their ideological stategies . 2- All political regimes existing in the African Horn with the motives of the strugeles that is going on the light of the legality of the African Nations at the post-impe|':alism era and also any probable peaceful settlement that is acceptable to the parties concerned . 3- Calling for the establishment of a congress for the seeur'ty of the Red Sea and between the states of the area like the midetcrrenean for Red Sea agahvist any future risks so that it will not be entrance to any intervcnsion under what is called combatting terrorism and piracy .
