ABSTRACT
The main objective of this research is to describe and
analyze the Millennium Development Goal’s (MDGs) indicators
and trends in the Sudan during, the period 1990-2(')O2. The
descriptive statistics method is used to analyze information and
data available in the concerned global and national reportsl The
analysis and data allows reliable results and ground
recommendations. The research concludes that, and within the
spreading of poverty and the inadequacy of execution poverty
alleviation strategies, several achievements vis-a-vis setbacks in
the MDGs can be observed (for details, see the results section).
Accordingly, and in order to alleviate poverty and achieve MDGs,
the research recommends a package of polices and efforts at
several levels (viz. global, state, community, and family).
