A variety of electronic based devices require high voltages and negligible currents in their operation. As a result of that, in AC circuits a transformer played a vital role in managing the need for these voltages. In contrast, in the DC circuits the DC-DC converters are used and thus the idea of this paper came on to design a converter system that can handle a high voltage conversion as well as applying software controlling rather than hardware controlling to reduce the cost and to enhance the stability of the output voltage and current. First of all, the work which was done in this paper was started by an investigation to determine the proper elements values to achieve a significant amplification level. Then, a Two-stage DC-DC converter circuit was implemented based on a traditional switching mechanism and 5-450 Volts conversion was achieved. Moreover, the traditional switching was replaced by a fuzzy logic controller using the same circuit elements values. Finally, the results of the two circuits (with fuzzy) and (without fuzzy) are used for comparison purposes. Keyword—DC-DC converter, Fuzzy logic controllingen_US
