| dc.description.abstract | Abstract BACKGROUND: The main objective of this study was the presence of the parasite of malaria in blood donors in Khartoum state (central blood bank) and diagnosis of the parasite by using the poly merase chain reaction techniqe and rapid examination (ICT). Fifty blood samples were collected in EDTA containers were stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 4 c° C. The genetic agent was then extracted from the samples using the Guanidine Hydrochloride method. The result: All the samples used in the study were negative for malaria parasite by using rapid diagnosis (ICT) and molecular technique. Conclusion: Since all results are negative in this study, this does not exclude the presence of the malaria parasite in the blood donors. The importance of including a diagnostic test for malaria is part of pre-donation screening protocols to prevent blood-borne disease. المستخلص خلفيه : الهدف الاساسي لهذه الدراسه هو وجود طفيل الملاريا في المتبرعين ببنك الدم بولاية الخرطوم )بنك الدم المركزي( وتشخيص الطفيل عن طريق الفحص الجيني والفحص السريع (ICT ) . الطريقه : تم جمع خمسون عينة دم في انبوب به ماده للتجلط تم حفظها في الثلاجه فـي درجةحراره4 درجةمئويه وبعد ذلك تم استخلاص العامل الجيني من العينات باستخدام طريقةGuanidine Hydrochloride ثم تم عمل الـ(ICT ) الطريقه السريعه. النتيجه : كل العينات التي استخدمت في الدراسه كانت سلبية النتيجه عن طريق تشخيصها بالطريقة السريعه (ICT ) والتحيل الجزيئي . الخلاصه : بماان كل النتائج سلبيه في هذه الدراسه فهذا لاينفي وجود طفيل الملاريا فـي دم المتبرعين . . واهميةادراج الفحص التشخيصي للملاريامن ضمن برتكول الفحوصات ماقبل التبرع للوقاية من الامراض التي تنتقل عن طريق نقل الدم . | en_US |
