Abstract This study is to examine the results of the samples of naphtha and gasoline products form Khartoum refinery at the atmospheric distillation unit which is treated in Central oil Laboratories, and the analyses of samples is for the different, major and important characteristics of aromatic hydrocarbon and olefin groups by the chromatography analysis. The study pointed out that the quantity of olefin in gasoline and naphtha in the Sudanese Standards is of high quality, and the quantities of olefins produced from naphtha at Khartoum refinery is higher in quality and quantity than which is produced in Gulf. The study pointed out that the ethylene production as olefinic product is 80% from ethane, 30% from gasoline and l9% from naphtha. This study shows that the olefins in the Sudanese crude is composed by using ethane and propane to produce ethylene and propylene, petrochemicals company produces polypropylene due to few amount of ethane in Sudanese crude.en_US
