There are several renewable energy resources but the solar energy is very promising due to the abundance of sun light so it could be used directly to generate electricity besides that it's a clean and environment-friendly source of energy. Photovoltaic system grid connection has many topologies; in this paper, a comprehensive simulation of a three-phase voltage source grid-connected inverter is presented using MATLAB/ SIMULINK. The PV module is connected to DC-DC boost converter, the control system based on the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) with Perturb and Observe algorithm (P&O) that helps the PV array to generate the maximum power to the grid with the changed weather conditions, then integrated into the AC utility grid by DC/AC inverter.
