dc.description.abstractIndeed DC motor is used in many applications in all aspects. That is why it is very important to develop the system of DC motor .In this sense, the frequency response characteristic is used to obtain the best controller, for instance, PID (proportional, integral and derivative) controller and compensator controller. In fact, due to the nature of DC motor system the velocity increases which leads to defect in frequency response characteristic. Indeed this paper spots the light on using compensation technique to compensate the defect in frequency response characteristic due to the increasing of velocity, using bode plot and transfer function(TF) of the compensator where Matlab script and simulink were used in analysis and design procedures, where the results show that the lead compensator compensates the defect that accrue due to increasing of the velocity which enhances the DC motors system.en_US
