dc.description.abstracthis study based on different samples of water taken from (BITAR OIL & SOAP FACTORY) , before and during industrialization process and at the final-before discharge in the sewage, and that is for the purpose of designation the rate of water pollution occurs due to general industrial processes (Oil and Soap Industry) Particularly in the factory. Four Samples of water were collected from_different resources as follow :- 1. Sample of water taken from (well) before treatment by Ion exchange. 2. Sample of water after treatment by Ion exchange. 3. Sample of water taken during industrial processes (washing water). 4. Sample of water taken from the waste , before discharge in the sewage. Then the following laboratory analysis has been applied on these samples :- PH-Hardness — TDS — TSS — BOD - COD and some other elements , using An Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS). UV — Spectro photometry — PH meter, BOD enqubator, etc... then the attained result were subjected to comparison with the international allowed limit and that which is allowed according to the Sudanese Analogical Descriptions. When we compare these results with the international allowed limit, th following finding are obtained: When we compare these results with the international allowed limit, the following finding are obtained:- A. The Concentration of Chemical Oxygen demand is greater than allowed limit, therefore necessary to treat the waste water before discharging in the sewage, and the high rate of COD is due to the existence of some organic Compounds, such as wax and Dissolved fats. B. The concentration of some elements, such as Sodium and Zinc is very high, therefore necessary to treat this elements. C. The concentration of Calcium and Magnesium from the results were equal to the allowed limit. Finally this study, it show or explain how the high rate of industrial water pollution has been obsenled.en_US
