The doctrine of Ibn Abbas in the inteerpretatioon of the verese details – the hand model-

Abstract

This paper has discussed a very important topic. It will study ibn Abbas’s contribution in delving in the meaning of the attributes of Allah. It is well known that this argument has an impact in understanding the approach of Predecessor towards attributes verses. The researcher has elaborate in the relevant literature in the meaning of )وقالت اليهىد يد الله مغلىلة( , these opinion been studied in detail in term of authenticity and approved or disapprove it, also examine the body and compare it it which been there in the famous books. The result were that ibn Abbas one of the main scholar in Tafseer. Which use to be just explain the literal meaning of the word or the possible meaning. It is different than what it is known is to switch the word to alternative meaning. This argument has been drifting different schools of thoughts while all of them are relying on the same literature. It is proven that ibn Abbas has switch the litral meaning in the word to the altarnitive meaning, which follow Allah instruction to hand the current Qibblah that lead towards Rida Allah. This study has come up with important recommendation which is highlight the importance of studying the entire thoughts and opinion oof Ibn Abbas in regards of attribute verses and to have clear cut conclusion about his stand,
