dc.description.abstractThis paper provides a method to automate elevator system by using the Programmable Logic Controller, PLC. It presents a general study of elevator mechanism and acquires more information about the PLC technology as Allen Bradley is PLC used to develop a program to control a three-level elevator. It helps the elderly, the disabled and others people to arrive high floors. The designed program uses ladder diagram language (LAD) for the control system. In this research simulation program, LogixPro version 1.61 used to show how the program works design and configure the proposed project, after that the designed program software tested under different conditions and it obtained good results which indicate that the proposed method in control process increases the productivity, speed, accuracy, and safety as well as reduces the time and cost.en_US
