Abstract

Abstract The study is mainly focused on addressing the crises and their causes in the agricultural sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represented by the National Agricultural Development Company "NADEC", where the study was applied in crisis management, in NADEC Company The study aimed to know the most important crises facing the agricultural sector and the role which must be play by leaders of agricultural management to deal with these crises, taken Nadec Company as case of study, to identify the thinking of supervisors and department heads and project managers. Toachieve these objectives, the study relied on the primary data collected by questionnaire personal group, interviews and observation approach the secondary data obtained from books, and different reports. The researcher used various approach, such as the historical, descriptive, and statically analysis to get results about the crises and their causes in relation to management system in Study Company, which can be generalized in similar companies. The results of the study showed the contribution of the agricultural sector employed in crisis management. It also showed that the most drastic crises facing the agricultural sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are natural disaster (frost cold, winds of high heat), fire. Furthermore, the result showed that poor forecasting of the problems before they occurred is the most important causes of crises in the agricultural sector especially in the agricultural marketing.
