Abstract

‫‪This paper aims to examine the methods and techniques that are used in the‬‬

‫‪building and management of the bibliographic database in Khartoum state‬‬

‫‪university libraries, as well as the methods of searching and retrieval adopted in‬‬

‫‪these libraries. The study has used the descriptive and the analytical approach‬‬

‫‪moreover; a survey has been conducted to collect data from government and‬‬

‫,‪private sector libraries. The researcher has chosen Al-Neelain University‬‬

‫‪Khartoum, Omdurman Islamic, Africa International, Sudan for science and‬‬
