Abstract

Thecurrentstudypresentsanewprogrammeforteachingliteraryfictionand drama.Thisprogrammeincorporates‘Labov'smodel’forconversationanalysisand ‘Egan’simaginativeapproachtoteaching’withdifferenttechniquesforevoking imagination.However,throughthreefacets:memory,mentalimageandcreative thinking,imaginationisexercised byvarietyoftechniqueswhichstimulatethe studentstousediversecognitivetools.Theresearcherdesignsanimaginative teachingprogrammeforliteraryfictionanddramathatengagesthestudents’ imaginationthroughthe processofteaching.
