The research is divided into an introduction, three chapters and the conclusion (which
encompassed some policy recommendations). The introduction contained a prelude to the
research, review of some previous studies and the research perspective.
Chapter one dealt with the theoretical framework in the realm of training; and the significance of
training for the Sudanese universities libraries personnel.
Chapter two handled the administrative and professional sides of training, the administration
theories in relation to training and kinds programmes and materials of training.
Chapter three covered the case study of'Al- Nilein University Libraries.
