Abstract

Abstract This study aims at identifying the role of the administrative leadership executed in the govemiiréntal organizations; this empirical research has been completed in the college of Science, Sudan University of Science and Technology. The faculty of Science is considered one of the colleges of SUST which has been established after the higher education revolution in the country and after converting the polytechnic to Sudan University in 1990, to stand the scientific development and advancement in Sudan, Moreover to solve the problems of post graduation and research students. The faculty of science faces a problem in administrative leadership; it could be summarized in the following points: 1- What is the role of the administrative leadership in the university in taking college decisions? 2- What is the importance of training for the administrative leadership in developing college personnel skills? 3- What is the role of the college environment in promoting the administrative leadership performance in the college? 4-' Does the use of modern technology have its effect on creativity and scientific and technological advancement in the college? After formulating these questions the researcher selected the following hypotheses: 1- There is a statistical correlation between competent leader and the right administrative decision. 2~ When there is no policy for administrative leadership leads to repeating monotonous and negative experiences which may not promote administration in the said organization. 3- There is a direct relationship between suitable work environment for the leader in the organization and the advancement of that organization. 4- There is a statistical correlation between using technology by the leader in the said organization and the correct administrative decision. The researched uses descriptive analytical method in field surveying and uses the Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) to test the hypotheses.
