Serum testosterone levels was estimated using Enzyme linked immune sorbent assay technique and serum Cholesterol level was estimated using Cobas( C111) . Data analyzed using SPSS software program . Results: In this study, serum mean levels of cholesterol and testosteronewere significantlyincreased in polycystic ovary patients when comparedwith reference group(290.2 ± 38.8 vs. 178.7 ± 191.6, p= 0.000), (2.23± 1.5vs. 0.38± 0.35 p=0.000) respectively.According to menstrual regularity, there were no significant difference in the level of cholesterol and testosterone in patients with regular MCcompared to those with irregular MC (287 ± 32 vs. 291 ± 41, p= 0.71), (2.6 ± 1.6 vs. 2.1 ± 1.5, p= 0.34) respectively. According to family history, there were no significant difference in the level of cholesterol and testosterone in patients who have family historycompared to those who have not (288 ± 37 vs. 291 ± 40, p= 0.81), (2.2 ± 1.5 vs. 2.2 ± 1.6, p= 0.96) respectively. According to number of cysts, there were no significant difference in the level of cholesterol and testosteronein patients who have more than 10 cysts compared to those who have less than 10 cysts (280 ± 48 vs. 298 ± 25, p= 0.11), (1.9 ± 1.6 vs.2.5 ± 1.5, p= 0.27) respectively. According to site of cyst, there were no significant difference in the level of cholesterol and testosterone in patients who have cysts in right ovary, left ovary or both (292 ±43 vs. 283±34 vs. 292 ±40, p= 0.77), (2.2±1.5 vs. 2.5 ± 1.6 vs. 2±1.5, p= 0.56) respectively. Serummean levels of cholesterol and testosterone were insignificantly correlated with age and duration (r= -0.129 and 0.246, p= 0.372 and 0.086), (r=0.013 and 0.166 p= 0.931 and 0.250) respectively. Conclusion: From the results and finding of this study, it is concluded that The serum levels of testosterone and cholesterol are significantly elevate in PCOs female patients.
