dc.description.abstractAbstract: Congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation is a rare non hereditary lesion of the lung. In the neonatal period it presents with severe progressive respiratory distress due to expansion of the affected lung. We present a neonate in whom this condition was diagnosed and managed at Omdurman Military Hospital, pediatric surgery unit.
