Iron is always found in association with cobalt in many samples, both natural and artificial. The H-point standard addition method (HPSAM) was applied for the simultaneous spectrophotometric determination of Fe(II) and Co(II) was carried out as Pan-complexes. Beer's law was obeyed at 473 nm for Fe(II) and 592 nm for Co(II) in the concentration range 5.0E-6 to 5.0E-5 mg/L, using 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2 naphthol (PAN) as chromogenic reagent and at pH 5.8en_US
