Abstract The research deals with the study and analysis, strategic planning role in raising the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations, Applied Shiekan Insurance & Reinsurance Limited. The problem was major search dose the use of strategic planning improve efficiency and effeteness by Shiekan Insurance & Reinsurance Co. Ltd. in the strategic planning process, which affects the efficiency and effectiveness The study aimed to find out how the practice of strategic planning within organizations and knowledge of problems and constraints facing the strategic planning within organizations has follow to researcher analytical method descriptive and the researcher on a number of secondary data of books and references, studies and preliminary data represented in the questionnaire and observation study was carried out on four hypotheses are: * Strategic Planning positive impact in raising the efficiency. *Strategic Planning positive impact in raising the effectiveness. * use of scientific measures necessary for strategic planning to keep pace with developments and raise the efficiency and effectiveness. * attention to environmental factors lead to efficiency and effectiveness of strategic planning. The study reached the following results: Strategic planning had a positive effect in raising the efficiency and effectiveness in the management of the company there is no strategic planning or planning departments within the various departments and there is no interest in understanding how employees work within the company. The study recommended the following recommendations for the establishment of a separate department for strategic planning follow her several sections within each department to monitor the operational plans and medium enterprises.
