Abstract

The Paper aimed to show the effect of financing the rainfed agricultural sector in South Kordofan. due To the fact that this sector is a major and crucial factor for economic activities in the State. The sector provides jobs for more than 70% of the population. The paper used to descriptive and analytical statistical approach for The data obtained through on extensive questionnaire distributed collected from farmers in Southern Kordofan State during the agricultural season “2014-2015”. An econometric approach based on linear model was built to contain all crucial variables and was tested by using ordinary least squares where agricultural area represented the dependant variable. The estimated regression equation revealed that the variables which included in the model explain 80.5%, of the variables while
