Abstract

Background: Emergence of Metallo-β-lactamase (MBL) is of great concern in the clinical settings worldwide. The death rate associated with MBL producers is ranging from 18% to 67%. The main purpose of this study is to determine the prevalence of metallo-β lactamase genes among different Gram-negative clinical isolates.
