Abstract
Production and services- are no longer majar objectives of the society
also. The concentration shifts from quantity to quality and cost
estimation. There for firms corporations that offer their services and
commodities to’ the public became more aware for the element of
quality of A product. The education institution particularly in our Arab
Countries face a lot of challenges that entail the existence of an
effective organization structure. Total quality managementgis
currently considered as the most important modern managerial
approaches towards the achievement of the quality element.
Elementary Schools suffered from several problems. at the same
time it is in" progress for the sake of getting rid ofthese problems and
to achieve quality. The title of this study emerges as a result of all
these problems ( The total quality management in Elementary
Schools in Omdurman Locality ).
The study aimed at determining the levels and signs ofT.Q.M
in the Education of the target area. Field data were solleted about the
element of quality were analyzed by using the advanced statistical
approaches to determine the lacks of different aspects of the area.
The community of the study incorporated the head - masters
and head - mistresses of Elementary schools in Omdurman. .
The sainple_ of study in cluded 47 head masters and head mistresses
out of 157 head masters and head mistresses which equal 30% of the
total population approximately, i
' The researcher improvised the questionnaire in order to
collect data. The data analyzed produced the following results:
til1- We can apply the principlesof T.Q.M in the field of Sudan
Education within the present in elementary schools. '
2- Of the tested parameters , all were significant in their results
except for the parameters (15-17) which the management
~ efficacy and school meetings. - _
According to the results of the study. the researcher concluded the

A- It is necessary to activate monthly meetings , issuing orders
and codes for applying TQM.- »
B- To achieve a balance between the goals and objectives. .
C- Qualifications and training of the head masters and head
mistresses in the field of school administration.
