Abstract The preparation of porous material consisting of Gum Arabic (GA) tinged balsang carbon black (Soot) using a chemical method, Potassium bromide (KBrO 3 ) used as a lever at different temperature (50, 70, 90 and 110 ο C). Impedance spectroscopy (IS) and scanning electron microscope (J6000 JOEL SEM), was used to examine the installation of the pores of the material consisting of Gum Arabic composite. Proliferation and coefficient of dielectric constant and presence of certain substances in arow: The results of diffusion coefficient and dielectric constant of proportionality showed exponential with frequency a logarithmic. The porosity of the sample found to be directly proportion to the dielectric constant. The effect of temperature was evident as the diffusivity and conductivity and found they change with increasing temperature, thus the sample turned into a semi-conductive material. The results of this study and found it compartible with the theory of Maxwell-Wagner. Such results might be attributed to the increase in grains surface to volume ratio obtained in our sample and being the good evident for porosity formation.en_US
