| dc.description | Abstract In this research sorption capacity and regeneration time for pure and mixtures of desiccant materials measured for finding the best material to .be used as desiccant in cooling systems The investigated materials are (silica gel, lithium chloride and air at room temperature. The material was dried at different temperatures. The sorption rate was determined graphically between the moisture content and time. Mixture of silica gel and lithium chloride is better in the sense of large sorption capacity and fast sorption rate and has suitable regeneration time. Silica gel has larger sorption capacity and shorter regeneration time; but it has slower sorption rate. For these reasons one can select the most suitable material to use in the cooling or drying system. | en_US |
