dc.description.abstractAbstract Analysis of common contaminants as methanol, 5-Hydroxy methyl filrfural (HMF) and lead in local alcoholic liquors were carried out using the GC-FID, HPLC-UV and AAS methods respectively. The levels of contaminants present in local alcoholic liquor were determined and compared with Distilled liquor sample prepared in the laboratory and‘ standard references such as National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC and Ministry of Health- Vietnam. All results found to be higher than standard values.en_US
