Item A Study of English and Arabic Prepositions Use and the Problems They Cause to Sudanese Students (A case study Second-Year Students) at the English Department at Al-Neelain University(Alneeklain University, 2016-11) Abdelgadir Adam YousifAbstract Code switching is the phenomenon of switching between two languages or more during speaking . This phenomenan sparks strong debate between aviation teachers as well as aviation students about its effect on learning achievements. The aim of this study is to assess the perceptions of students and teachers on using code switching in aviation classes and to determine the extent that code switching can affect learning. Literature reviewed confirmed that many researches have been done and the result is highly approved the researcher ‘s hypotheses that code-switching has a beneficial use in enhancing learning achievement and success . The study investigates ninety one aviation students and ten aviation teachers. Two versions of a questionnaire A and B are used to collect data from the students and the teachers. . The questionnaire has been checked and approved by three language professionals Each questionnaire contains fifteen questions utilizing likert type scale . These questions are grouped into five groups to answer the five research questions. The analytical techniques of data are statistical based on questionnaire. The result is discussed and analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. It is analyzed statistically by introducing the statistical package for the social sciences.(SPSS). The data is presented in tables and diagrams showing the percentages of the responses .The findings present strong indications that code switching in aviation classes has a great role for enhancing language achievements and success. And there is a very strong positive attitude towards developing code switching into
