Abstract-
This study is an attempt to present the magnifies role that the city Sahar,
Oman played throughout history. This role is manifested when the research
delves into the political, social and economical aspects related to this city.
Needless to mention its architechml development.
Sahar was a sea port on the Arabic Gulf coast for many centuries and it's
distinguish location gave it a special strategic and developmental role for the
whole region.
Hence, this research will highlight and explore the past as well as the current
situation ofSahar as a civilzzed city in the Sultanate of Oman.
