    Abstract This Study analyzes the effect of training on the performance of workers staff with application on Baraka Bank ( Sudan ).The study examined the concept of training, its objectives, significance and methods of measurements and evaluation of performance in an attempt to find appropriate solutions to the research theme. The study mainly focused on the question of the lack of training programs that might up- grade the bank personnel and sharpens their skills by consternating on historical background of the Baraka Bank ( Sudan )- Khartoum. The study aims at identifying the system applied on the bank as well as the methods of training the bank adopted in training its staff and the impact of this training on the trainees' performance within the bank. The study has also focused on the basis and principles the bank relied on in training the staff and to identify to what extent the institutions have contributed in initializing new concepts of training, and to develop the workers talents which would increase their experiences and this will definitely, reflected on their performance. The study pursuits a number of hypnosis: the most important is that training has a positive affect on the performance the workers in the bank; there a direct relation between the training and the promotion to the job grades. Increase of productivity when the workers enrolling a training program. The uses of administrative information systems would activate the training process. The descriptive analytical approach is used. The study has also relied on preliminary information gathered from references , books and reports. The preliminary sources were also helpful in designing a questionnaire that distributed to the bank staff to grasp the training problems. The most important findings compassed by the study were as follows: The development of the workers staff, their mental and psyche capabilities are so crucial. The lack of the training programs hinders the bank work that affecting their performance, and therefore, the quality of service minimized. All workers staff should be trained and their skills should be developed, because the training increases the productivity. The training Unit at the bank should be supported for the significance role that it plays in planning for the banking activity. The top administration should use a highly modern and the most sophisticated technologies in training processes.
