    WiMAX BER performance Enhancement using equalization

    Abstract This thesis is presented to study , analyze, simulate and evaluate the performance of WiMAX network using MATLAB simulation software program and was focused to enhancing BER by apply equalization technique to OFDM channel received signal. After the executing the simulation, the results was represented in the terms of tables, charts, and images. The results showed that equalization with The Recursive least squares (RLS) technique are more efficient than the Least mean squares (LMS) equalization. المستخلص البحث يقدم دراسة وتحليل ومحاكاة و تقييم أداء شبكة الواي ماكس باستخدام فلاتر في جهة المستقبل حيث تتم محاكات فلاتر التسوية ببرنامج المات لاب.حيث تم العمل علي تقليل نسبة الخطاء في الاشارة المستقبلة. النتائج تم تقديمها في شكل جداول ومخططات بيانية , ومن النتائج لوحظ أنه لتحسين نسبة الخطاء في البيانات بإستخدام أحد أنواع تقنية التسوية مثل مربع اقل متوسط ,وتكرار اقل مربع يساعد في تحسين اداء شبكة الواي ماكس التي ستعزى إلى تحسين جودة الخدمة بدلا من تقوية الاشارة او زيادة قدرة الارسال او زيادة عرض النطاق.

    Performance analysis of voice over IP over WLAN

    المستخلص الهدف من هذه المشروع هو دراسة وتحليل وتخطيط وتصميم ومحاكاة نقل الصوت عبر برتكول الإنترنت خلال الشبكة المحلية اللاسلكية بإستخدام برنامج الأوبنيت ثم تقييم جودة الخدمة (التأخير،الإنتاجية، معدل التاخير) في الشبكة. العوامل التى اخذت فى الاعتبار لتقيم الاداء هى معدل الإرسال، عدد الأجهزة المتصلة بالشبكة و زمن المحاكاة وذلك لتقييم جودة الشبكة. وأظهرتنتايج المحاكاةأنالزيادةفيمعدلاارسال البياناتتؤديإلىانخفاضفيالتأخيرفيحينتنخفضالإنتاجيةومعدل التاخير . Abstract The objectives of this project is to study, analyze, plan, design and simulate voice over internet protocol over WLAN network using OPNET simulation software program, to evaluate the Quality Of Service performance (delay, throughput, and jitter ) of the network. The parameters which were taken into consideration of the evaluation were data rate, number of nodes and simulation time. The results of the simulated network indicated that as in data rate increase delay decrease while the throughput and jitter decrease.

    Performance Analysis of MIMO LTE Network

    Abstract The objective of this thesis is to study, analyze, simulate and evaluate the performance of MIMO LTE network using MATLAB software program. The parameters which were taken into consideration of the evaluation are: bandwidth, bit error rate, signals to noise ratio, cyclic prefix. After the implementation of the simulation, the results were obtained in the form of tables and charts and the results were noted that to overcome most of the problems facing the fourth generation technology is solved by using one of the techniques of diversity (multiple input and multiple output) and we also find to improve its performance we must decrease the bandwidth. المستخلص الهدف من هذه الأطروحة هو دراسة و تصميم ومحاكاة و تقييم و تحليل أداء شبكة التطور طويل الأمد بتقنية ( تعدد الادخال وتعدد الاخراج ) بإستخدام برنامج الماتلاب ومن ثم تقييم الأداء لهذه الشبكة. العوامل التي أخذت في الإعتبار لتقييم الشبكة هي عرض النطاق, معدل الخطأ في البت، نسبة الإشارة إلى الضجيج والبادئة الدورية. بعد تنفيّذ المحاكاة تم الحصول على النتائج في شكل جداول ومخططات بيانية, ومن النتائج لوحظ أنه لتخطي أغلب المشاكل التي تواجه تقنية الجيل الرابع تحل بإستخدام أحد أنواع تقنية التنوع ( تعدد الإدخال و تعدد الإخراج) ونجد أيضاً لتحسين أدائه نعمل على تقليل عرض النطاق.
