Item Implementation of dual polarization free space optical Communication system(Neelain University, 2018) Afra Abd Elmotalib Fad! Almula MadaniAbstract Polarization is the process of transforming unpolarized light into polarized light, by using a polarizer or polarizing beamsplitter, in this research it is proposed to study the polarization at vertical axis, measure the output power and showing the results of transmit two beams at different axis and the effects of it on the received pulse. From consequences some results was obtained, the first experiment shows that the He- Ne laser source transmits vertical polarize beam and the output power was (0 uW) at angel (90) for all distances (1 to 5m). The second experiment explains that data can be converted from vertical to horizontal polarization, and the output power was (4.4 uW) at elliptical’s angels (60). The third one illustrates the ability of using two light beams ( horizontal and vertical ) from two laser sources at same time, the result which was acquired, is that a clear pulses appear on an oscilloscope and the output power of laser was (120 uW). In case of using two vertical sources some interference was happened in the output signal due to different factors such as the noise come from light, loss of the devices and existing of horizontal component on the vertical axis.
