Feminism in the play A Doll‘s House

Abstract The aim of this research is an attempt to analyze competence through the play‘A Doll ‘s House’ on women suffering from men’s dominance, injustice, inequality, by using different data collection from references, including books, journals, articles and on line media, ideas and point of views from which those with or against the problem. The researcher shed light on the play‘s influence in real and social life at the nineteenth century.The research discussed the feminism in the play and how women degraded and treated with oppressive attitude and voilonce from men. To solve the problem it needs more attention from the stockholders and the society. There are some feminism revaluations around the world to gains women s’ rights and the researcher recommend to write more in this area because feminism is very important issue and movement concerned women and there is gap in knowledge to write in this field. I hope some writers struggle strongly to have women s’ rights, to fill this gap and to contribute to the problem that need closer investigation.
Feminist Perspective in Alice Walker’s “The Color Purple” A Thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the M.A Degree in English literature

Abstract This research looks at modern American literature through the work of Alice Walker's ‘‘ The Colour Purple ’’. The goal of the research is an analytic reading of the novel. The researcher looks at the work through its lines to see how feminism is the most frequent element that appeared in the story, considering Celie the protagonist as an example. By analyzing her character we see that When her step father abused her, she used to be submissive, although the suffering and pain she experienced was so great, she was tolerant with herself and patient, and that was not in vain. The researcher learns that hope is always playing a vital role in rescuing people , s lives, changing them to the better; for we see how Celie has already recovered from all her painful sadness, obstacles and stand still, moreover she was inspiring other people’s life and helping them. Although Celie experienced many awful things in her early life, the hopeful woman becomes the happiest one in the novel. The novel takes place 4 in two distinct settings —rural Georgia and a remote African village— and proves that whether the place changes or remains, women suffer and are disrespected by men. The research also proves that Gender inequality is what most afro- american women suffer from, and that it is always leading to a denial of the right of women. This research is rendered in a primary source(the novel of the colour purple’’), and focuses on detailed description of the protagonist. in depth, with regards black feminism.
