Tuberculosis (TB) is caused by a type of bacterium called Mycobacteriumspp.Mycobacterium tuberculosis, in human beings , other mycobacteria (such as Mycobacteriumbovis) are more common causes of TB in human, occasionally infecting humans via contact with infected animals or their products (such as unpasteurized milk from M.bovisinfected cattle).
