(الكلية الدراسات العليا جامعة النيلين, 2016-07-01) Isa, Kawalya; Allie Al Saouri, Hassan
Records from The Interreligious Council of Uganda (IRCU)1 show that to some extent dialogue between Religions (Christians and Muslims) has been implemented in Uganda. However, there are still many people in this country who don’t value the purpose of interfaith dialogue regarding the importance and guidelines in order to carry it out rightly. This might be due to lack of knowledge and understanding about the significance and guiding rules while carrying it out. This study focuses on a review of the importance of interfaith dialogue. The study also provides information concerning the rules and guide lines for currying out interfaith dialogue which consequently will increase understanding and foster meaningful engagement between people of different religious backgrounds in Uganda basically Muslims and Christians.
