This study aimed at determining the environmental concepts contained in the Islamic education textbooks. The population of the study textbooks represented three Islamic education textbooks as decided on the intermediate stage in Iraq for the academic year 2014-2015, was subjected to content analysis method in order to sort out environmental concepts entailed in such textbooks.
