د. سعد عبد الله سيدأحمد الكرم2015-11-162015-11-162015http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/1452The paper targets the role of the non-oil exports in the Sudanese economy through examining the real volume and contribution in export in Sudan During (2004-2014). The basic assumption in this paper is that: despite of the importance of non-oil exports and their role they played for long decades in providing foreign currencies to finance national development plans and the general budget even after oil came in to the equation; However, there are fluctuations in revenues of the non-oil exports. Additionally, their contributions are still bellow expectations. The researcher depended on the descriptive methods, using data and information from related secondary sources. The paper concluded that, non-oil sector is still weak, the policies and programs applied by the state to deal with its problems, did not work well. The paper recommends the necessity of promoting the non-oil sector and solving its problems by applying economic policies that cater for the production conditions in the different economic sector. Those include bank finance flows and investments to increase non-oil exports revenues to minimizing pressures on the balance of payments and trade deficiencies.
