نجدة فضل المولى العبيد فضل المولى2017-12-132017-12-132005http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/9512Abstract This study aims at identifying the effects of the method of programmed teaching on increasing the level of learning by 8"‘ graders of the subject of Jurisprudence and doctrine - compared to traditional methods of instruction. The study community comprises to pupils (of both sexes) of the 8"’ Grad of Khartoum East Basic Education Schools. i Data was gathered using tests as a yardstick to gauge against programmed texts. The experimental method was followed and the study findings include: y 1- There are differences of statistical significance at (0.05 = a) level of immediately ensuing leaming between the methods of programmed and conventional instruction. 2- There are differences of statistical significance at (0.05 = a) level of deferred learning between the two methods of programmed and traditional instruction. T 3- There are no‘ differences of statistical significance between average performances of males versus females. The study findings may be attributed to the principles of programmed learning in terms of organization, logical sequence, repetition, reinforcement and moving from the easy to the more difficult and catering to the individual nature of pupils by testing them. The study findings thus prove the effectiveness of the programmed method of instruction — compared to the traditional method.
