RH materials have both positive permittivity and positive permeability, and LH materials have both negative permittivity and negative permeability. The first objective is to design a wideband and compact filter that amplifies the designed structure possess a wide band that ranges from 5 to 10 GHz and amplifies signal up to 1.5. The second objective is to design Voltage-Controlled Oscillator (VCO) at high frequency. The VCO model is constructed by combining the RTD with one cell of CRLH-TL. In this case, designed three prototype device examples. The RTD was biased using a variable DC voltage supply producing voltage oscillator at resistance load when the RTD biased in the negative differential resistance (NDR) region. The VCO capable of generating oscillation at frequencies in the range between 4.87- 8.9 GHz depending on the biasing DC voltage. MATLAB software is used to analyze the proposed circuits and satisfy the goals of this work. المستخلص تعنى هذه الرسالة بدراسة خطوط النقل المكونة من مواد ذات ذات خواص مميزة غير موجودة في الطبيعة لها القدرة على التحكم في الموجات الكهرومغناطيسية ، حيث أضيف صمام ثنائي الرنين النفقي الى خطوط النقل ودرس مدى الاستفادة من أضافة هذا الصمام . هنالك هدفين اساسيين لهذه الرسالة ، الهدف الاول هو تصميم خطوط نقل قادرة على تكبير وترشيح أشارة الدخل بمقدار 50% خلال طيف ترددي 5-10 جيجا هيرز وذلك عن طريق أضافة صمام ثنائي الرنين النفقي الى خطوط النقل ، اما الهدف الثاني هو تصميم مذبذب أشارة متغير بتغير الجهد الواقع عليه حيث صممت ثلاث نماذج مختلفة من مذبذب أشارة ، فكانت النتيجة من التصاميم الثلاثة هي توليد موجات بترددات بين 4.87-8.9 جيجاهيرز بحيث يختلف التردد باختلاف فرق الجهد الواقع على صمام ثنائي الرنين النفقي، في هذه الرسالة استخدم برنامج حاسوبي واحد وهو الماتلاب لتصميم وتحليل الدوائر المطلوبةElectrical EngineeringControltransmission lineThesis
