There are no required standards or rules to be met before putting information on the Internet, so the degree of reliability and quality found on web pages can vary greatly. It is very important to be able to evaluate reliability and quality of information on web pages. This thesis presents many existing evaluation criteria to evaluate web sites, and we present new criteria that overcome the limitation found in existing ones, and provide a tool to assist professionals in web sites evaluation process.Computer Science
