Eman Basher Abdalrahman Ali2021-03-172021-03-172020http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/16272Scrub nurses are surgical team members who are scrubbed in work directly alongside the patient, in a sterile area that play a vital role in preventing infection and improve the patient outcome in the preoperative setting by good infection prevention and control measure to ensure that patients who undergo any surgical procedure receive safe and effective care and decease morbidity and mortality rate. Objectives:This studyAimed toassessscrub nurses performance regarding infection control at the theater rooms. Methodology:descriptive cross sectional hospital based study,conducted atombadda locality hospitals from( February – October 2020), include census of (31) nurses, using closed ended questionnaire byself- administer technique and observational check list , the data were then analyzed by the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program, and presented in form of tables .frequency and percentage were used to present the data. Results:The study found that the mean of total knowledge of scrub nurse were good (86.4%) , when compared to mean of practice which was moderate (2.02%).good knowledge regarding consist of Infection control in theater (96.8), zone of operation rooms (71%), common methods of sterilization (96.8%) and factors influencing sterilization by heat (86.3%), the principles of Aseptic technique are ( 74.2%) .The practice showed that most items were moderate within 2 % , practice regarding removing of all jewelries and artificial nails was 2.19%, casual hand washing according to agency police was 2.77% and proper using of autoclave sterilization and machine was 2,42% .And there was not any significant evidence of association between scrub nurses knowledge and level of education except in tow variables (preoperative prophylaxis and the areas to be swabbed),Alsothere was not any significant evidence of association between their knowledge and Years of experience. Conclusion:thestudy concluded thatthe scrub nurses have good level of knowledge but moderate practice regarding infection control. Recommendation:The study recommended that continues in cervices training education programs regarding infection control can increase the knowledge and practice of scrub nurses. المستخلص الخلفية: ان محضريالعمليات هي احدي طاقم العمل داخل العمليات يلعبون دورا مهما في تقليل من خطر انتشار العدوي بين المرضي او طاقم العمل,ايضا تقليل نسبة الاصابات والوفيات داخل المستشفيات خاصة فى العمليات وتحسين حالة المرضيباستخدام الطرق الوقائية في عملية التعقيم والتطهير . الأهداف: تهدف هذه الدراسةإلى تقييم معرفة وممارسة محضري العمليات فيما يخص بمكافحة العدوى في غرف العمليات بمستشفيات امبدة الحكومية. المنهجية: هذه دراسة وصفية سريرية تم إجراءها بأقسام العمليات بمستشفيات امبدة الحكومية بولاية الخرطوم خلال الفترة (فبراير – اكتوبر 2020) حيث شملت الدراسة كافة محضري العمليات 31 عينة عن طريق استخدام الاستبانة بالملا الذاتي والمهارة عن طريق استمارة ملاحظة بالنظرة الي عمل المحضر داخل العملية,تم تحليلها بواسطة الحزمة الإحصائية لبرنامج العلوم الاجتماعية الإصدار 26 المستخدم في الجدول والرقم في شكل التكرار والنسبة المئوية. النتائج : اظهرت هذه الدراسة ان مستوي المعرفة العامةلمحضري العمليت كانت جيدة بنسبة 86,4% مقارنة بالاداء العملي كانت متوسط بنسبة %2,02 .خاصة فيما يخص ب ( مكونات مكافحة العدوى96,8% ,طرق التعقيم96,8% , العوامل التي تؤثر علي التقيم بالحرارة86,3 %, اسس تقنيات التعقيم74,2%). اما الاداء العملي كانت متوسطة بنسبة 2,02 حيث وجد ان معظم الاداء العملي كانت متوسط بنسبة ااكثر من2%فيما يخص بازالة الاظافر الصناعي والاكسسوارات2,19% ,غسل الايدي حسب سياسة المؤسسة2,77% والاستخدام الصحيح للفرن الحراري2,42%.حيث لا يوجد اي علاقة بين معرفة محضري العمليات ومستوي التعليم الا فيما يخص ب( الوقايات قبل العملية, الاماكن التي يجب اخد العينات داخل العملية ليتم زراعتها وانواع التطهير ), ايضا لايوجد اي علاقة بين العرفة وسنوات الخبرة الا فيما يخض ب(الوقايات قبل العملية واقسام المطهرات) كانت موجبة . الخلاصة : توصلت هذه الدراسةالي معرفة محضري العمليات كانت جيدة ولكنالاداء العملي كان متوسط فيما خص بمكافحة العدوى . التوصية: وتوصي هذه الدراسة بالتدريب المستمرفيما يخص بمكافحة العدوي لتحسين معرفة واداء محضري العمليات.enInfection Control - Nursing.Thesis
