Researchers Link between the vitamin D level and thyroid hormone, therefore it is necessary to estimate it in patients with vitamin D insufficiency Aim of this study: The present study aim to assess the association between vitamin D level and thyroid hormone level in Khartoum state. Material and Method: In descriptive cross sectional study, one hundred patients. Vitamin D and thyroid hormone were measured. Serum vitamin D was measured using competitive immunoassay, while thyroid hormone was measured by immunoenymometric assay. Data was analyzed statistically by using SPSS. Results: Analyses of frequency revealed that, vitamin D insufficiency is common in female (90.0%) than male (5.0%). Person’ s correlation revealed that positive significant correlation between vitamin D insufficient and T4 While no significant correlation between vitamin D insufficient and T3, TSH.
