هدف البحث للتعرف على الاكتئاب وعلاقته بالسلوك العدواني لدى المعتمدين بولاية الخرطوم. اتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي تكونت العينة من (50) من المعتمدين كلهم ذكور تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة، كما استخدم الباحث مقياس الاكتئاب والسلوك العدواني. ثم تحليل البيانات ببرنامج الحزمة الاحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) وتوصل للنتائج الاتية: يتسم الاكتئاب لدى المعتمدين بالانخفاض. و يتسم السلوك العدواني لدى المعتمدين بالانخفاض.وتوجد علاقة ارتباطية بين الاكتئاب والسلوك العدواني لدى المعتمدين. ولا توجد فروق دالة احصائية في السلوك العدواني لدى المعتمدين تبعا لمتغير العمر. ولا توجد فروق دالة احصائية في الاكتئاب لدى المعتمدين تبعا لمتغير العمر. ولا توجد فروق دالة احصائية في السلوك العدواني لدى المعتمدين تبعا لمتغير الحالة الاجتماعية. ولا توجد فروق دالة احصائية في الاكتئاب لدى المعتمدين تبعا لمتغير الحالة الاجتماعية. وفي الختام قدم الباحث توصيات منها التفعيل الفعلي لعلم النفسي الإيجابي داخل المستشفيات والسجون حتى يخرج الفرد منها مهيئاً نفسياً وإجتماعياً وعمل برامج علاجية خاصة للمعتمدين تقوي من فعالية الذات حتى يكونوا أكثر تقبل لذواتهم والأخرين ومقترحات لبحوث مستقبلية.

Abstract This research aimed to investigating the depression and its relationship to aggressive behavior among addicted people in Khartoum state. The researcher used descriptive method. He selected random sample consist of (50) addicted people. They are all males. The researcher used the test of depression and test of aggressive behavior. The data analyzed by statistical package for Social Science program (SPSS) the results indicated that: The depression among addicted people is low.The aggressive behavior among addicted people is low.There are significant statistical positive correlation relationship between depression and aggressive behavior among addicted people.There are no no significant statistical differences in aggressive behavior between addicted people according to variable of age.There are no significant statistical differences in depression between addicted people according to variable of age.There are no significant statistical differences in aggressive behavior between addicted people according to variable of marital status.There are no significant statistical differences in depression between addicted people according to variable of marital status. In conclusion the researcher presented some recommendationsActuating the role of positive psychology in hospitals and prisons until the addicts leave it while they are sable psychologically and social. Wsign special treatment programs for addicts to developing self- efficacy of adicts so as to be more accepting themselves and other people.an future research suggestion.
