Abstract

abstract: The study of the Libyan - Egyptian relationship during the said period has gained special importance as it discovers a part of Egyptian solidarity towards Libyan national combating against Italian occupation. The importance of the study is based on the fact that Libyans and Egyptians were struggling mostly simultaneously for the independence regardless of the struggle circumstance in both countries in terms of techniques, methods and means. The most important objectives of the study are: l. To explore the solidarity that took place between the Libyan and Egyptian people for combating foreign colonization. 2. To find out how he national Egyptian movement has benefites from the Libyan combating in realization of its national targets. 3. To find out the condition of Libyan Egyptian boundaries and their impact on the struggle in both countries. The research contains area introduction and three sections which approaches the stand of Libyan stuggle movement towards the English in Egypt and Egyptian stand towards Libyan struggle movement in addition the question the Libyan Egyptian boundaries and its impact on the struggle movement in both countries. The study concluded to the following results: 1. Libyan combat led by Ahmed sharif against the English in Egypt in 1915 gave rise to the growing of national feeling in their armed struggle which led to 1919 revolution against the English in Egypt. 2. Libyan combat for independence had an impact on Egyptian political struggle, as Libya witnessed unprecedented political movement in Northern Africa know as Tripolitan Republic. 3. The English imposed on the Egyptions to be neutral towards Othman- Italian war. 4. The Egyption Government has never taken management of jagboub Oasis since the rule of Mohamed Ali family.
