Leak detection system for 8 inch Sudanese pipeline

Abstract

This research presents a leak detection system proposed for (8 inch ) Sudanese pipe line , the system will use the real time data gathered from the SCADA system along the line .the leakage points are then calculated using Artificial neural networks the results are then compared with the data points collected from the use of intelligent pigs through the use of SQL server that analysis the database and then runs it through the SCADA system which makes it easier for the operators to detect and locate pipeline leakage situations. يقدم هذا البحث منظومة لحل مشكلة التسريب للخط 8 بوصة للشركة السودانية لخطوط انابيب البترول باستعمال المعلومات الواردة من نظام الاسكادا وتحديد نقاط التسريب باستعمال الشبكات العصبية ثم مقارنة النتائج مع المعلومات المخزنة من استعمال الخنازير الذكية والتحليل بعد دمج هذه المعلومات مع بعضها ثم ارسالها لنظام الاسكادا لتسهيل عملية اكتشاف وتحديد اى تسريب بالخط .
