Abstract

Abstratt The Tithe (zaluzt) is one of the foundation of Islam which is five. The Tithe is the part of Islamic relation system in social and wealth. Therefore, tithe was discussed in both level: Islamic political and economy. This thesis entitle "Imam Tahawi and his choises of Islamic lurisprudence related to tithe in his interpretation entitle "Ahkam al-Quran al—Karim". Writer have divided this thesis into some parts, covering: overview; introduction; four sections that include some chapters and some matlab. First Section talks about biography of Imam Thahawi, including: his personality; a period of his life; and his scholarly. Second Section talking about a global picture of "Ahkam al-Quran al- Karim", including: definition about the book; its writing time; books were mentioned by Thahawi in his interpretation; law verses were mentioned in his interpretation. Third section talks about the essencial of tithe, including: the meaning of tithe in term and language; naming of zakat; differences between tithe with alms; its argumentation and its philosophy. Fourth section talking about Imam Thahawy and his choices of Islamic lurisprudence related to tithe, including: tithe for child which not yet baligh; tithe in golds and silvers; tithe in receivables; tithe in commercial products; tithe in livestock animals; tithe in rikaz (properties that held in the earth); interpretation of verse: Innama as-Slwdaqaat ; interpretation of verse: Wu fi al-Riqaab; interpretation of verse: Wa fi Sabilillah; luridical of giving tithe to one faction; ]uridical of ~needy of Bani Hasyim, Bani Muthallib, and their slave, and also juridical of amil (officials who collects the tithe). .3
